Franki originally studied Jazz performance at the Royal Birmingham conservatoire before going on to teach music theory at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music. She quickly realised composing was where her passion lay so started her masters in music composition at the Royal Conservatoire of the Hague studying under Martijn Padding and Guus Janssen.
Korean violist Jieun Kim pursued her first musical studies at Sookmyung Women’s University
in 2013 (Seoul, South Korea) under Sungeun Kim. Thereafter she moved to the Netherlands
for her master degree and chamber music degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag under the tutelage of Ásdís Valdimarsdottir and Timur Yakubov.
Rik Kuppen is a promising young soloist and chamber musician. Frequently heard on stage and part of innovative, successful ensembles, he is 1st prize winner of the Princess Christina Competition, finalist of the YPF and followed the Dutch Classical Talent trajectory, where he was described as a 'color virtuoso'.
Taiwanese violinist Yuting Lu , graduated from Koninklijk Conservatorium for her bachelor degree in 2020 with Professor Vera Beths. Now she is continuing her Master degree study in the conservatory with Professor Arisa Fujita. Currently, she is playing with the Residentie Orkest as an academy student.
A finalist of The 18th International Robert Schumann Competition Zwickau and Semi-Finalist of the XX Santander International Piano Competition, Callum Mclachlan, 23, has been described as ‘A born Schumann player’ with a magical sense of colour and extraordinary technical prowess’ (July 2019, London recital).
He has appeared as soloist in concertos by Haydn, Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich and the Brahms Double Concerto. Awards and accolades have included the Delius Society Prize, Leamington Music Prize and the Birmingham Chamber Music Society Sylvia Cleaver prize.
Alessandro has performed during his career througout Europe as soloist and also with ensembles in many festivals and music events, like “Pietre che cantano 2008” in L’aquila, the radio live “Koffieconcert” for Radio West at the Anton Philipszaal in The Hague and in the “Italian culture institute” in Amsterdam.
